I've never heard of them before.

Perhaps it's my laptop, but the singer sounds more like a woman to me.

Give me Frank Sinatra any day.

You've never heard of The Eagles????? *goes off for a lie down* ;)

They started out in the very early 70s, Aggers....Randy doesn't actually sing with them any more :(

I would love to see them, but my friends husband paid £83 for half decent seats a couple of years ago and no way would I pay that much to see anyone

Aggers, it is a woman singing the song made famous by Bonnie Tyler's 'Holding out For a Hero' The photos are of Randy Meisner, vocalist and bass player of the original Eagles, and the song and the captions matched to his photos are a tribute to him created by one of his fans celebrating his hotness, handsomeness, gorgeousness, deliciousness, sexiness, hairy-chestness, nice navelness, sculptured cheekboneness, raunchiness, wouldn't half like to-ness, ecstatic eye-candy-ness, looks great in jeans-ness! Can you tell that I love him yet?

I wouldn't want to see the Eagles because Randy is no longer touring with them and prefer watching my Eagles DVDs from the years when Randy was an Eagle.

This is for you Aggers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2zcg9GyR2k

Thanks for that info, Fugi.

To be honest, my knowledge of pop singers covers mainly five decades - from the 1920s to the 1960s.
and I know hundreds, if not thousands, of songs from that period. I lost interest from the 1970s, as the
styles generally seemed to have changed and did not appeal to me, apart from a very few exceptions.
I guess this is a common complaint with old fogies like me. But I'm happy with my memories. :D
