Had a lovely day with daughter, sil, grandaughter and her boyfriend :D
Dinner was a success.
The frozen turkey from Aldis tasted better than the Sainsburys fresh one
we had for Christmas dinner on Sunday with son and family and at half the price :)
Had a phone call from son from Disney Paris to wish us a Happy Xmas and to say
what a wonderful time the 2 little ones are having (by the sound of it him and dil too) :D
Got spoilt rotten this year with perfume
A bottle of Miss Dior, Prada and Dot by Marc Jacobs so i will smell nice.

Morning all. Its a lovely day here - blue skies and everything!

Mick and the girls are off to the raft race - I really can't be bothered so am going to soak in the bath instead. I will meet up with them later at our friends house where we are having lunch and spending the rest of the day.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning everyone

Sun is out, so is the washing already :)

Normal working day here, I think Boxing Day only exsists in England? or am I wrong?

Anyway, a pootling day, will sit in the sun this afternoon although we may have to get Grumpy some beer, as there is only one bottle left until we go shopping tomorrow.

Enjoy the panto Jen, Saundra and everyone else with visitors - have a lovely day xx

Good morning all, dull grey and miserable here, which more or less fits in with my mood :( My cough and bit of a cold now seems to have developed into a sinus infection, I feel pretty sh*te and I have no energy. Boxing Day is called St. Stephens Day here, Ton, and is a proper bank holiday. Lots of shops have started their sales though. No plans for the day, maybe a walk around the block to get some air but that's all I'll be able for really. Mr. Osc is in grumpy form so it's going to be a lovely day   Might do some reading, and I'm sure there'll be stuff to watch on the telly. All you with nice plans have a lovely day, and if all you are doing is relaxing, enjoy that too :)

Good morning everyone :) It's been busy here after a late start - we all slept in (too much good food and good booze yesterday) and then it was a mad rush to get them breakfasted and ready for the off! Mick is driving Becks to her Dad's and Chris back to his flat (very nearby) and then bringing my Harry back for a second round of Christmas!!!!

In the meantime I am going for a looong walk - I feel blobby after all that eating and drinking and need to walk some off and blow off the cobwebs :) They left about 20 minutes ago and I've zapped round with the new Dyson and loaded the dishwasher, opened the windows to air the house though and am now having five minutes here before showering and dressing ready to go out! Mick and H won't be back much before half two or even three so plenty of time for a good walk :P :P

Happy Boxing Day everyone - I hope those travelling to be with family drive safely, and those expecting a family visit have a wonderful day! :D :P :D

Morning all, it's a bright and breezy one here, and quite mild - I can't remember being out in the garden without a coat in December before. If only these temperatures would stay around until Spring kicks in ;) I just hope it stays dry long enough for my line of washing to dry!

Tom and I both had a hot toddy before bed last night, although he had less whiskey than I did, and we both slept well. The weight has dropped off him whereas I always turn to chocolate when I have a cold  at least the constant tingly sneezing has slowed down today but now my ears are blocked.

Osc and Saundra, I hope you go feel better soon.

We're off to my parents for lunch shortly, roast beef I think. Not sure how it'll be there though as my sister and her boyfriend are going and she's not doing very well lately with her problems (I will try and find the time soon to tell you the full story, I know I said I would a while ago when you were all so supportive) and he is, understandably, losing patience.

Have a lovely Boxing Day everyone!

Its all back to normal with us today We had a wonderful day with Kate yesterday and she excelled herself with the meal and as always her table and general house decorations must have taken hours.
We enjoyed our annual meet up with her partners parents and at 4 we FaceTimed our other daughter who was with her daughter and children. Its not quite the same as having them with you in the flesh but a delightful alternative.
I am so glad your day went well Lissie. Have a great Boxing Day. :P
