Oooh no! I have to have my Comfort 'hit' when the clothes come out of the machine.

I do use fabric conditioner - except for towels of course, it ruins them - I like the smell too, but only half a cap ;)

Saundra, if you have an arts and craft shop nearby they will cut you a border so that a 10" x 8" fits an A4 frame. In some shops they are available off the shelf.

Di, half a cap! You skinflint!

I was going to say vinegar too! Lived in hard water areas most of my life

I never use fabric conditioner, it makes both Harry and me itch

Well no, or only partly! The ex-FIL who was a biochemist told me it wrecks fabrics, but I didn't want to miss out on the smell, so compromised :D
Drying outside gives the nicest smell anyway :)
For a lot of washes I use 2-in-1 but don't use the full measure of that either, it's not needed, its just a con to make you use more ;) :D

Toothbrush Vic, with Viakal. Won't ever get it really clean, but if you start off when it starts looking grubby, it normally works. Although, being over here, you never know  they use different stuff in the groating, as Grumpy has found

That lemon is having it's photograph taken tomorrow   Before it gets cooked on Sunday

Yes, Viakal or Cillit Bang Bleach & Hygiene if you can get that. I use both on the grout in our shower cubicle, depending on what's in the cupboard, and almost 3 years on it's still lovely and white.
