Good Morning Thursday

Postby JoM » 02 Jan 2014, 07:01

Morning all! Not been outside yet so can't comment on the weather.

John's back to work today and I'm just off to the gym, I'll pop to the shops after that. I need to nag Joe today to sort out his mess of a bedroom!

Have a good day all, see you later!

Morning Jo, morning all :)
It's not raining! :P
May be the odd shower today but mainly dry, thank goodness - it's the only gap by the look of it. The local radio is full of roads and rail lines closed due to flooding, and lots more to come over the next few days. Must look up Noah's address :o
Got to get on, off out this morning, Bb's back to work, then some sorting/clearing for me later.
Hope everyone has a good day
Di

Morning Jo, Di and everyone

Dull, gloomy and a trifle damp this morning

And I want to go down to the monthly market for some cheese, so I'll venture out anyway.

Grumpy is worried about th new traffic laws brought in yesterday - roundabout now have to be accessed completly the opposite way to the way we've been used to driving (in England, anyway) and the fines will be up to 300 euros :o :x :x if done incorrectly. We spoke to one of our Portuguese friends about it yesterday and he said the police were on every roundabout. We have to go to Faro tomorrow and there are 7 on our route   So he's got his grumpy head on

More stew for tonight and I'll take the few decorations down today too.

Hope you all have a good day, especially those back to work xx

Morning all :)

It's been raining overnight, but seems to have stopped for now. We're off out in about an hours time and will be running around doing last minute shopping and buying some US dollars to keep us going for the first day before we get some Bajan ones (much cheaper exchange over there). Also need to get a few things for mother before we go.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning everyone :) Sorry to be late but we had a very late night last night - and a fantastic time - at my MIL's with Mick's brother, wife and one of his lads, and then I had a very early GP appointment, so I've only just got online ;) I might post on Health later about my appointment, bit of a wake up call I think  :o

I need to do a food shop today, we need fresh stuff - fruit and veg etc - but not a massive amount, so as it is sunny (hooray!!) for the first time in almost a week I will walk into town and get the stuff there 8-)

Mick is back to work today as well Di, normality resumes eh? ;)

Ton that sounds complicated - hope Grumpy can get used to the new traffic systems without too much hassle

Ally I think I am in serious need of a personal trainer - fancy a job? I can travel...................... :x

Jen, how exciting, holiday time!!!!! :P :P

Hope everyone has a good day :) xxx

Do you know Kaz that is something I would love to do.

Obviously I wouldn't do what I done with my friend Denise a few years ago.

On her first day of 'getting into keep fit' she took one look at the first killer hill and..well, let's just say her sentence ended with "off!"

Morning all :)
Lovely day here. Thank goodness it is dry and sunny as D is driving the parents home now. Dropping mum off in Nottingham, then off to Stafford to take his dad.
I am now about to do the beds etc and some tidying around.
Have a good day everyone xxx
