Good Morning Sunday

Postby JoM » 29 Dec 2013, 07:57

Good morning all! It's bright but very cold and frosty here, the road outside is white over.

Tom's out doing his paper round and John's just left for a day's cycling in North Wales. I have no plans apart from hoovering and sorting out any presents that John and the boys were given which can have their packaging recycled as it's bin day on Tuesday. I might have a walk to the shops later to see if there are any bargains.

Have a good day all :)

Morning all.

I'm still in bed and really need to think about getting up. It must be cold out there as I can hear Mick scraping the ice off his van - he's off to Leeds on a break down

Off to see my mum and dad later, call in to Sainsburys and then home to roast a duck and help S tidy her room. It looks like a bomb has gone off.

Morning Jo :) Morning everyone :)

Well we had a much better night's sleep last night, so are feeling a lot brighter :) It looks cold but clear out there, am hoping to persuade his nibs to wander out for lunch with me later - saves me cooking  ;)

Have a great Sunday everyone - mind you every day feels like Sunday to me, between Christmas and New Year :? ;) xxx

ETA Morning Debih :) My whole house is tidy but needs a good clean - apart from the kitchen and our en suite it can wait until tomorrow, or the day after

I give up over Christmas. With all four of us home all the time it starts to look like a bomb site.

The bathroom and kitchen were cleaned yesterday and I was going to do our bedroom today but you can't see S's floor at the moment. We're going to tackle L's tomorrow I think.

The cleaning will wait til everyone is back at work/school.

Morning all :)
It's a beautiful cold and frosty one here too :x Another storm forecast for tonight...
Definitely the perfect day for a lovely long dog walk by the sea, maybe even with the reward of a bacon or sausage baguette if our favourite beach café is open :P

Since we had the bargain Indian for dinner last night I think we'll have gammon with bubble & squeak for tonight, I have a lovely big bag of kale for it :D
Hmm, a bit of dusting/hoovering wouldn't go amiss either 8-) :)
Very glad you had a better night Kaz :x
Enjoy the day everyone

Good morning everybody.
Lots of blue sky here but it is cold. Have been to the dump to get rid of cardboard boxes, plastic bags and other rubbish to save filling our bins. Having a relaxing day.

Mmmm Di I love bubble and squeak ;)

Enjoy your pud Saundra :)

Debih it was the same for me when the kids were younger, the house would be a sea of clutter and wrapping for ages  It's been just me and Mick since Boxing Day, so I've had a chance to get straight ;)

Goooooooood morning. :P :P

It's   gorgeously warm and sunny.

Today we're having a spag bol fest!

The Spanish don't do spag bol and the first time I made it years ago for my friends, along with home made garlic bread, well, you would have thought I was top chef..they loved it!!!

So today I'm making it for 10 of us...last night it was deemed party day at our house! :x :x

There's a huge cauldron bubbling away as I type.

No doubt the rest of the day will involve a hooley type shenanigan

Enjoy! :) :)
