Evening :)
Kaz it probably will take a while but will be worth it, good luck :D

Plans changed, my back hurt so Bb took the boys and went to his mum to collect the beef.
We had a lovely afternoon though, we watched Its a Wonderful life :D
And we just popped to Waitrose and got bargains!
A box of Clementines for 39p and an Indian takeaway for £2.99 :)
We spent a fiver so got a free paper, then also got 10% off the full price of the takeaway :P

And now I'm finally having a bit of a play with my shiny new kindle hdx :P

Hope you feel better soon Osc :)

Good evening everyone!
We've had a 'normal' day today. I've been to the gym, done a little food shopping, walked Billy, ironed...and it's been lovely. We're all 'familied' out I'm afraid so it was nice just to have today to ourselves, although my Mom did call this afternoon to see if they'd be seeing us tonight (we usually visit on a Saturday night) so I had to come up with a quick excuse :o but now I feel guilty.
Yesterday in Wales was okay. There was only one nephew in so it was quieter than usual, although there was the constant sound of claws on laminate as Billy and his 'cousin' Caesar the Bassett ran around  John's sister cooked a nice meal, when we got back to MIL's before coming home she mentioned how there's a gap at the back of the cooker in T's kitchen where the tiles haven't been sealed and food goes down there, and how she always has the urge to clean when she's there. She also asked if I'd gone in the upstairs bathroom while we were there but I said I hadn't, she said "Just as well, it's filthy...." John had told me about that actually, M had fitted a shower over the bath but hadn't tiled the wall surrounding it and it's got so damp that there's now a hole in the wall and what's left is covered in mildew. It's a new house too, only about 6 years old, but they've really knocked it about :o

The boys have been spending their Christmas money today. Joe surprised me by not putting is into the tills at Game and bought himself a another electric guitar! Tom took himself off to Wolverhampton and bought some clothes.

I hope that Kaz and Osc feel better soon and that your back eases quickly Di xx

That's a shame about the house Jo....its silly really as it will lose value! :o

We've had to give up for tonight with the dogs - we came up an hour ago as we are so tired, for an early night, and they have howled non stop. For the sake of us and the neighbours we've given in..................... :? :? :( We'll have to have a rethink.......
