Loz that has made me think of the Ladybird books and the family in them.

Mum and Louise walk Jasper the dog. Dad and David build the shed.

That Springsteen thing sounds great Ally, but unfortunately I don't have sky

Morning everyone!!! Sorry to be late - we had a shocking night with both dogs playing up, and are only just getting up now :? I might post about it on pets later rather than blocking up the morning thread

Mick is out walking them now, I need to get up, run a hoover round, then a nice loooong hot shower is needed I think

Hopefully we'll feel up to going out later, the sun is out and it looks beautiful out there, and the fresh air is called for I think!

It seems as though everyone has plans for a lovely day - do enjoy all!!! Love from a very tired me :?

morning all

Made it before noon.............well I woke around 7 and was awake for ages but finally made myself go back to sleep as Amy was still sleeping, we woke at 1045! OMG!!

Amy was also awake at 2am crying and saying her head was sore, so got up and gave her some paracetamol, poor wee thing.

Not a lot to do today, ordered a coat from Matalan online and collected it yesterday, well it was a size bigger than my current coat (its a bit tight) but it is tighter than my current one? So its going back, am not happy. Had tried on my friends one which is the same, and was 2 sizes bigger than mine and it was too big so went for the one in between and too small - its no wonder I hate shopping for clothes. :( :(

I am joining weight watchers online a week on Monday, as thats the 1st day back of schools, I have the Monday/Tuesday off work, and am determined to get into this and lose the weight, it makes me so damn miserable.

Anyway, must go and get showered, Amy's wee friend just phoned so she wants to go play as soon as we are back, so best be quick!

Have a good day all xx

Afternoon all, it's a lovely sunny day here too, although pretty cold. We were up and about early as we were going to a Month's Mind mass for Mr. Osc's friend who passed away a month ago. I'm not feeling great as I have a headache which seems to be somewhere between a sinus headache and a migraine  plus my right lower eyelid is a bit swollen and sore. So my plan is to do very little today, mess around on the laptop and read my book. Glad to know about that Springsteen programme tonight, will certainly watch that or record it at least! Sky Arts is great, as is BBC4 for those kind of programmes. Enjoy your day everyone :)

Di that's exactly what we will be doing, from tonight onwards they sleep in the kitchen, our room is out of bounds! I know we'll have a few rough nights while they get used to it, so we are doing it now while Mick is still off work :( :(

Mick felt too rough to go out, so I went out by myself for the walk and the fresh air. I only had my hair cut a few weeks ago but hadn't been happy with it, too long and too 'flat', so I nipped in again and thankfully 'my' girl was in and she's chopped me in all the layers again so it's got some body and it feels like 'me' again! That's cheered me up a bit ;)

Poll, that's annoying about your coat!! :o I think sizings are all over the place these days, I had the exact opposite experience with the jacket I bought yesterday! I ended up buying a 12 as there were no 14s and the 16 swamped me! No way on god's earth am I a 12, so it's a bit crazy  :?

Afternoon all.

We've been to chesterfield so the girls could spend some money.

Back home and I've cleaned the kitchen and bathroom - the rest of the house can wait til next weekend when the tree comes down.

Had a soak in the bath and now about to watch The Hobbit. We're off to the cinema on Monday to watch part 2 so need a reminder.

Lazy tea tonight - ham, cheese, nibbles, crackers, chunky bread and maybe some chips.
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
