I was so much more relaxed this year, just cooking for the four of us. I put the turkey in early, and when we got back from walking Billy at 12.15 pm I put the frozen roasters and roast parsnips in and then prepared the veg and boiled that, made the stuffing and....for the first time ever I didn't burn the bread sauce  We were sitting down to eat at 1. John actually said that it was the best Christmas dinner he'd ever had.

Jo we could do with some chocolate too :x
Thankfully I bought a little box of Ferrero Rocher as an emergency present that wasn't needed, so we opened that tonight, but no, no chocolate as presents at all.
We do have choccy, both of us had stockings, but bars of choc aren't the same as a box to share are they? :? :x

They're not are they?! I wonder with us if it's because people know I go to the gym and John cycles so they think we're health freaks when really, we do those things so that we can eat chocolate  8-)

I'm going to the gym on Saturday and on the way home I'm going to do a detour into town and I'm going to buy us a lovely big box of chocolates :P

Just popping in to say sorry for being AWOL...it's a bit tricky getting more than a couple of minutes on the pooter at the moment.
All is well though and hoping everyone is having an enjoyable Christmas xxx

Hi Loz :) x

Well we now have a box of Terrys All gold, dark chocolates. Plus a box of German somethings, dominos, to go with a bottle of genuine German gluhwein (sp); I believe the chocolates have gluhwein in as well, will have a proper read of the label.
Unwanted raffle present and Christmas presents from Bb's mum and dad! :D
