Phew! Thanks for asking Saundra. I think the Ministry of Unblocking Ditches and Drains must have done some vital work since last summer when we had the sea on one side and the other three sides surrounded by overflowing rivers and town was a virtual island with water on four sides. This time we were cut off by the sea on one side but fallen trees blocking all exits out of town.

So glad we're not travelling by road or sea or plane.

Glad you haven't got to get anywhere Fugi :D

Just listening to the local travel on the radio, we seem to be marooned too! All the main roads in/out of town seem to be closed/impassable due to either fallen trees or floods :o

So many trees surrounding both of us Di. All calm at the moment. Crazy weather! In times past I used to want to live right on the beach but I don't now. The rivers are bad enough when they burst and hit the flood plains! The flood plains where they've built houses!

Glad you girls are all OK. Have had a tree down in the road here and several roofs damaged which I will have to get fixed but could have been much worse. Electricity is still OK too and I am glad I shall be static this Christmas. Have a lovely time everyone. :D
