Good Morning Sunday

Postby JoM » 22 Dec 2013, 07:10

Morning all!

I'm up early to go and do my paper round ;) Not really. Tom and I went to buy chips yesterday and he noticed a sign in the newsagents saying that they needed delivery staff so he went in and enquirer and starts today! I said I'd walk around with him today, with Billy, while he finds his way - it's one end of the village to the other so around 3 miles, he's doing weekend mornings which suit him best.

Gotta go!

Have a good day everyone!

It‘s still dark and I‘m snuggled in bed sending this on my phone.

Yesterday was the fabbiest of fab days....Ghost was brilliant!!

Today..after a Craig special full English brekky..we‘re going into town for the day.

Shopping first and a look see at the German market.

Then..ice skating at the open air rink. :P

A few cocktails and dinner to finish the day off. :P

Enjoy the day everyone.

Kaz...enjoy H‘s arrival. :) xx

Morning :)
We had torrential rain for much of the night, it was still hammering down an hour or so ago but has finally stopped - for now. The local forecast said we should have quite a bit of dry today, so fingers crossed. Tomorrow looks pretty horrendous, as does Tuesday, I'm glad we don't have to travel.

Today apart from a bit of cleaning, we're going to make sausage rolls (and no doubt sample the odd one), and I shall plan all the actual meals. We will have cold meats etc, but I don't like it when exactly the same stuff is rolled out meal after meal.

Glad you enjoyed it yesterday Ally, in your posh new frock :D Have fun today :)
Jo that's really good news, a horrid time of year to be doing it but no doubt that's why they had the vacancy!
Kaz happy hoovering and happy H arrival :D
Aggers enjoy your rest :)

Hope the bugs and colds are getting better, Have a good day all

Hello again all! We're just back  we found everywhere eventually and have been to parts of the village that we've never been to before but at least he knows his round now so next weekend will be quicker :) He can always use his bike too.

It's a lovely morning here, quite mild and sunny although windy. I was surprised at Agger's weather report because he's not a million miles from me! Saying that though we could see a beautiful rainbow over the fields in the Wolverhampton direction.

Getting up so early has done me a favour actually, Billy's had his walk so it means I can get on with the long list of jobs that I've got to do  I'm also expecting a friend to call around, she usually always comes by on the Sunday before Christmas. Love Al to bits but her husband's always with her and he's a funny b*%#€r, you never know if he's going to be chatty or if he's going to sit there looking like he'd rather be somewhere else

Have a lovely time with H, Kaz!

Another full day then Ally! :)

Di, I really fancy a sausage roll now! :D

Morning all. I is back - I feel human again! I'm pretty snotty but I feel like me again.

Not doing too much today - I have the ham to do and some filo pastry baskets to make with my mini morsel tin (had I mentioned my mini morsel tin).

Other than take Millie out for a good walk that's about all I'm doing today!
