Good morning Friday

Morning all. Its cold and dark out there this morning.

Last day of school for the girls so its own clothes day. They've been up for ages deciding what to wear!!

I feel sort of better and sort or worse!!! I don't feel so "ill" today but my head hurts - my eyeballs and teeth ache!!! I've got a busy day ahead but I've decided sod it, I'm going back to bed for a while.

I thought about cancelling our friends for tonight but I'm really looking forward to it so I'm not going to. It'll be easy enough - ready made pizzas, garlic bread and chocolate pudding for the kids. For the adults I've just got to prep the veg (carrots, cabbage and creamed parsnips), slice the potatoes and onions for the boulangere potatoes and bang the leg of lamb in the oven. Someone else is making the pud now.

I'm not going to go cleaning mad - I'll clear out and lay the fire and run the hoover round and just give the bathroom a wipe round.

I think if I keep dosing myself up with the cold and flu capsules I'll be fine. And tomorrow, other than taking the girls to get their hair cut (which Mick can always do) I've got no plans so can spend the day in bed if need be!

I am off to Cheltenham today for what I sincerely hope is the final fitting for my bridge!!!! This one is the full monty so it should be fine.....it had better be! Becky is coming with me, it will be nice to have company

A lovely morning, after yesterdays rain, wind and clouds Washing machine going already

Off to get the last of the veg this morning and a trip round Fuseta, looking for the mechanic and I must put some money on my phone, so that's a half hour wait or so in the post office

Morning all, it's fairly grey out there, just heard the weather forecast and very strong winds are due around the time we board our flight for Blackpool We have not checked in a bag but I think I've done well with hand baggage only. Our landlady's internet is out of action apparently, so won't be around much, maybe a few FB photos. Looking forward to dancing in a Christmassy Tower Ballroom tomorrow Home on Sunday, have a great weekend everyone

A beautiful one here, cold and bright and I woke up full of the joys of something-or-other, dancing in bed to the radio . Bb has some paperwork to do but other than that is finished now till January so I think we might take Minnie for a good walk round the sea wall
And later we really might get the decorations done

Yesterday was so mental I'm doing a separate thread!

Got lots to do today.

My flight is at 7pm and Craig is meeting me at the airport.

We'll go back to his house for takeaway, some vodka and a game of Scrabble.

Morning everyone - hopefully a lovely quiet day in the office today. Need to get my Christmas cards done so I can email them all off.

Debih, hope you feel better as the day goes on - definitely keep topping up with the capsules. If you're heading into town, get some of the liquid day / night nurse bottles - much better than the capsules, esp the night nurse one!

Kaz, best of luck with the dentist today; I really hope that they get it all sorted once and for all
