Morning all. Its starting to rain here again.

Off to the vets this morning for a bandage change. I'm just waiting to feed her to see if she keeps it down - I'm not sure which part of "don't feed her any solid stuff" Mick doesn't understand but he managed to make her sick yesterday by feeding her bacon and ham. And then she didn't keep her dinner down either because he gave her far too much. She the poor little thing's tummy is rumbling like mad as I wouldn't let her eat anything after her tea at 4pm. Today she will be on extra small and extra watery portions.

Have to cook our beef stew this morning (tomorrows dinner) before we head off to my mums for our big Christmas dinner and present opening session.

Then we are off to the carols around the Christmas tree at the local hotel before heading home to get ready for the man in red.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning all. A bit grey outside.
Christmas chocolate covered ginger got opened last night, as did the peanuts but the tree chocolates survived!
Ham to be cooked today and make a start on trifle.
We will be at our daughter Zoe's for Christmas lunch. Then the invasion starts here Boxing Day.
Reminds me must get the collection of wellies out, as a walk along the beach happens what ever the weather! One year we had 14 pairs of assorted boots lined up. :P

Morning everyone :D :D Happy Christmas Eve :P :P

Ally are you excited? You'd never know

Sarah I could walk on a beach in any weather myself - I love beaches :)

Well I did all my cleaning yesterday so today will be relaxing, I hope, until we pick C up from the railway station at 3.45..........The weather here is atrocious, torrential rain and the Paddington trains are disrupted further west, but he travels to Reading then changes for Gloucester so should be unffected  I haven't seen him since the summer so am really looking forward to it :)

I hope Millie will be ok over Christmas Debih xxxx

Have a lovely day everyone, whatever and wherever you are ((((((((((((((((x)))))))))))))))))))))

Morning everyone! :) My FiL decided yesterday that he wasn't coming, then he was and now he has called to say he isn't. He has to drive down from Stafford to us in Salisbury and he is worried about the rain. Mr L is now thinking about going to pick him up, but his dad doesn't want him to as it would be a 6 hour drive there and back.
I don't like to think of my FiL on his own, but we can't drag him here and he seems to have made his mind up. The roads can be nasty so I don't blame him.

Anyway, today I will lay the Christmas dining table at some point. We have a separate dining room, so I can get that all done and shut the door until tomorrow. Then just a trifle to make and a ham to bake, then that's me done. I'll go to church on my own this evening than back to the chaps for mulled wine and mince pies before bed.
Kaz, hope C arrives safely. My C comes later today too! Debih, hope Millie is ok x
Have a good day everyone and happy birthday to Aggers xxx

  Yes Kaz..my normal exuberance has gone into overdrive.

Glad someone mentioned trifle..I'm going to make mine right now. :D

I've just finished my run..and found a 10 euro note on the way home. :P :P

It was lying there all lost and lonely looking so the kind soul that I am picked it up and told it if it fancies some company it can join his friends in the till at Mercadona!
