Was going to post earlier saying how dreadful the weather is here, then we had several power dips in a row - lights off, then on again - and switched the PC off as it kept reverting to log in screen and so many surges can't be good for it

It's absolutely awful, very very high winds, we've heard a couple of quite big crashes with no idea of what they were

I'm so relieved. Just spoken to him - he's still working but has booked a hotel for the night.

Just need L home now. She's due back from the panto around 10.30.

Then I can dose myself up again and go to bed.

Bb and I were saying a while ago that a lot of people have no choice but to be out in it - not just the obvious, all those pubs in the Forest have a lot of people working. It really is dangerously bad out there
