Morning all :) Dryish here too today thank goodness.

Jasper is off to stay with Kelly the lovely lady who lives by the river who has him when we go away. She is going to give him a much needed haircut and keep him overnight. We are having our tango friends round tonight for a bit of a 'practica' in our spare/dance room...I must take a picture :)

Enjoy whatever you are doing today, pottering, wrapping and so on. Good luck Ton with the glad bag saga x
Have a good one chums x

Morning all :)

Good luck at the doctor's Ton xxx
Gosh debih, if you pack any more into your day you'll meet yourself coming back

Early start for us, we've got the dentist this morning. Not my favourite appointment, but it's just the usual check up so fingers crossed we get the all clear for another six months.

Afterwards we're off to the cinema to see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, very excited :D :D :D Planning to stop off for a late lunch/early dinner somewhere on the way home.

Hope you all have a good day :)

When we were there in October, we decided that our Christmas treat to ourselves would be to go back for the Christmas dance in the Tower Ballroom and I have a posh frock all ready to pack ;) - travelling on Friday, dancing during the day on Saturday and then the evening as well, home on Sunday.

Had a really good meeting with the architect and designer today, they were very interested in our ideas and seemed pleased that we (especially Mr. Osc) had put so much work into looking up different design ideas and that we had a good idea of what sort of "look" we are going for. Next step will be for the designer herself (we both really liked her) and an engineer to come out and have a very good look at the building. Then detailed plans will be drawn up to put out to tender and that will be the start of costing the project. No doubt we will have one or two more meetings before that.

We had thought we might eat out, but decided to do the supermarket shop on the way home and have an early evening meal which we have done. It's turned very cold here, so it's nice to be home and settled, although I do have physio at 7.30pm, but that's a 30 second walk away :D
