Morning Monday

Postby tonicha » 16 Dec 2013, 08:11

Morning everyone

A grey start here, although warm.

Thoughts and prayers for the families of 5 young men swept out to sea at Sesimbra early this morning. They were sat on the beach when a huge wave just took them.

Off to our friends house later, to hopefully finish the little jobs she wants doing.

Then chilling, I think.

Hope Mrs O had a good night and continues a speedy recovery xx

Have a good day everyone x

Morning all. Its pretty warm here this morning.

Last night I managed to get all the presents wrapped that need delivering during this week. Today I am going to get the girls presents wrapped, and Micks (which wont take long) which will then just leave me with 2 hampers to put together (I don't do the inlaws until after Christmas as they are off tomorrow on their cruise until 10th January).

I am going to potter in the kitchen making mini quiches to freeze ready for Boxing Day and probably more mini mince pies, again to freeze for Boxing Day. I need to make some mini filo pastry cases too but they can wait until the weekend.

And I still have the pile of ironing waiting to do - I've been meaning to do it since last week. Maybe tomorrow.................

Morning chums :) Grey and grim here today.
Tragic news Ton. How awful
Bits and bobs for me today. Quite a bunch of tango chums coming round tomorrow evening, so just need to sort out some canapes etc.
Then a quick scoot around with hoover and duster.
Have a good one each xxx

Morning all :)
Trying to smile amid the gloom, it's darker than ever here and trees are down all over the place. Need to listen to the local travel news at 10 so Bb can work out how to get from here to Romsey, it wasn't clear whether roads were partially or fully blocked

Ton how dreadful, five of them at once, absolutely tragic

Saundra I'm on the this and thats with you :D None of the planned bits got done yesterday, I was a bit tired and I think Bb caught my lethargy! Today am feeling much more with it so will try and clear the h-word in readiness for everything else :)
Hope Mrs Ossie is doing well - and Mr and master Os too :)

Good morning, all.

Not a very pleasant start to the day here. Rather dull.

How sad about the 5 young men swept out to sea at Sesimbra. This year seems to have been a terrible one, weather-wise.
Makes one wonder what is in store for future years.

Hope you are all OK.

Oooh gosh I forgot to 'sign in' Afternoon all :)

Ton that is tragic - how awful for their families

Well Becks and I went into town, after sorting out a Uni admin error, involving money, that had had us a little worried all weekend! I might post about it on the private board later cos I was a tad annoyed! I had my nails done and Becks had a much-needed hair trim ;) I also got some blu tack to stick my cards to the kitchen door - I did that last year and they looked very nice :)

Hoping that Mrs Ossie is doing well, and that Ossie and Master Ossie are coping ;) (((((x)))))
