I've had a cuppa sitting on our terrace watching the sun come up. :)

Not alot planned today. :)

Making a curry and will have a walk into town late afternoon to have a look at all the decorations and take some photos. :)

Will pop into Hairy Mary's for a couple of beers and home for some TV tonight. :)

Enjoy the day everyone. :)

Morning Ally, morning all :)
Dark and dull here, probably be like it all day.

Well, we're feeling a bit better about all the Christmas stuff now, we did a fair bit yesterday :D
Bought the turkey breast joint, also Champagne, beer and wine. Some nice cheese, 3 packs of sausages at the farmers market (orange & cranberry particularly good!), one of those prawn rings, tomato juice for traditional Boxing day Bloody Marys, :x , and the cards.
Today we're going to go in the loft and get all the bits down, write the cards...finally getting organised :P

And bought a chicken in Lidl, sweet winter spiced, with a sachet of sauce, which will be for tonight (and a few more meals, it's a biggie!). We had one last year, I searched on here for it to get clues as to what I did to go with it (white & sweet potato mash was all I saw).
Bacon butties will be served around 10, please form a queue ;) :)
Have a good day all
Di

We're having bacon baguettes this morning Di..but I'll be open to being called a guzzle guts and have one of yours too.

I put the tree up yesterday and all the presents are wrapped.

Just a few last food bits to buy nearer to the day (and will also have to re-stock the goodies that I've scoffed from the UK  ) when I'm there next weekend.

How I've managed to resist the mince pies is a miracle!

Afternoon all, a nice enough day here although it was very windy when we got up, seems to have calmed down a bit now. After breakfast, I finished wrapping all the presents and writing the last few cards, I've a busy week ahead so want it all done. Just having a quick potter around t'internet now, then out for quick walk, shower, have something to eat and we will be going dancing later on in the afternoon (after "someone" has watched the match ;) ) Enjoy your day everyone :)
