Just got a delivery to the door - a side of smoked salmon, which I lurrrve, a gift from our architect Last year the man himself arrived on the doorstep with what I think was probably a very good bottle of red wine (obviously I wasn't going to tell him that we don't drink!). We have a meeting with him next week after a delay of a couple of months as he was working on a major job on a department store in Dublin. The meeting will be to start the process of deciding on the interior layout of our property and getting it costed, so it will be quite exciting to see the process beginning to move again. We were just saying yesterday that this could be our last Christmas in this house

What a lovely present Osc

While I lived at my flat, best mate (who was living in Las Vegas at he time) would come over regularly, but depending on what he was doing, would go to places in a different order. He almost always also visited friends in Ireland, and when he came to stay with me directly from there he would bring a side of smoked salmon
It's lovely being able to be so greedy with it!
