No, the flu I had earlier this year was quite scary - I hadn't felt that ill in a long, long time :shock: :(

Absolutely Di, I've taken Tom to have it this year as he's had two horrible bouts of proper flu, not just man flu, in the last 3 years :(

Frank, my doctors say that often you can be fighting a virus without even realising it, then you have the flu jab and your body throws everything into fighting that, so the virus that was lurking gets to run riot. That is why people think they get the flu from the flu jab. They don't, that virus was lurking anyway

We're very lucky and never have any side effects after our flu jabs. I've only had 'proper' flu once and it was truly horrid.

That's strange. I've never heard of anyone getting those aftereffects from a flu jab.
