Billy's on the "Naughty List"

Postby JoM » 11 Dec 2013, 20:08

I just took him for a walk and could hear bells and loud music in the distance. At the other end of the estate we came across Santa on his sleigh, it was Penkridge Rotarians doing their fundraising. Billy had to stop and watch as they went past and Santa saw him and waved...so Billy barked at him
They've just been around our close and he's been standing up at the windowsill watching it all so I took him out when I went to put some money in their collection, it's like having a toddler in the family again ;)

I hope you lock him away on Christmas Eve or Father Christmas may have a very sore bottom with teeth marks when he comes down your chimney.

That's exactly what they are Jo, like toddlers :)
Adult dogs apparently have an equivalent mental age of about 5, so quite intelligent, but always up for a game and always questioning :D
It makes sense, Minnie still loves hide and seek - we can show her a toy, then shut her in the kitchen, where she willingly goes as she knows the game - and hide the toy in the l/room, then let her in to find it :D
And 'hiding' a toy under her bed, which is just a soft mat thing, she happily dives under it every time :D
