Morning all

Up early as we're off to Oxford shortly, giving ourselves plenty of time before the rush hour gets going. Had a phone call yesterday to say E's having his op today. He should be in/out within 30mins or so, should be back home all done and dusted by lunch time.

today Missy had her Small Poppies, which she loved. So that took us over the other side of Auckland followed by lunch at my mums with her and my Nana. Then we stopped into the garden centre where my MIL works and bought a couple of plants for the vege garden. then tonight I've dug over another bed ready to put some of them in.

The garage is going to 'try' to get the car done today, so everything's crossed for that too, it's costing a squillion of course but can't be helped, just hope it means it will be ok for a good while.
I have a load of boring paperwork to get through today, might get Bb to have a little go at the garden.

Guess who forgot to post her Christmas cards yesterday? I got halfway into town before I realised I'd left them on the kitchen table, so I'll be making a second attempt today Otherwise not much planned - it looks a bit gloomy out, and as though it might rain later
