When the kids were younger I got the decs done about three weeks before, but now they are older it will almost certainly be the weekend after next, or even the following week as Becks will be home from Uni by then and Harry is coming to us for Christmas Day (for the first time in 3 Years!!! ) so will be here the week before, and they can help Although, as H is here this coming weekend, if he asks us to put them up we'll oblige

I do feel happier this year about the idea of Christmas - last year was very hard being the first anniversary of mum dying - but this year I almost feel Christmassy, a lot better than I thought I would

my mum died in the october and it would have been her birthday in the december
that xmas was a nightmare of emotion
but i had to cope for the family sake
