Helicopter Accident

Postby Ally » 30 Nov 2013, 08:52

My thoughts go out to the friends and families of the helicopter tragedy in Glasgow.

I spent many nights in The Clutha Bar in my youth as it was a fantastic venue for live music.

Give someone you love an extra hug today. xxx

That doesn't sound good at all. Not turned the television on yet, but will check it out.

It's absolutely dreadful Ally, I heard it first thing on the radio and was watching the news earlier :(
Had to switch the Tv off in the end as I couldn't believe how crass and stupid some of the news reporters were being

It sounded like a lovely pub too, horrid for you when you can picture the place.

It's virtually on the Clyde Di and I walked right past it when I was up at mum's in July and I had my day of walking round Glasgow. :( :(

I've not seen it but Mick read it on his tablet this morning and was telling me.

We put the news on last night after our friends went home and it was breaking news then. There was a Police helicopter flying over here about 6 last night, I heard it in the garden and Tim heard it in Morrisons car park and we both commented on how low it was to avoid the clouds, so presume that was similar. So sad :( :(
