Well I spoke to payroll last week and my tax code was still the correct number - I get paid tomorrow and am in the office so will get my payslip, it would be nice if its all sorted and if I get the money back that they took BUT to be honest, I am kind of expecting to wait until April for it

Also hoping they got my change of grade to payroll on time as from 11th November I went up from band 2 healthcare assistant to band 5 staff nurse so hoping it has been sorted as it means more money

Fingers crossed it'll be sorted for you this week, I know I used to have to deal with wages in my old job and emergency tax was always repaid straight away.

oh thats good to hear Jo, I really do hope this is the case as I have so much to buy for a certain little lady to send to Santa and worrying about it a lot

Yeah she is getting very excited, counting the days and can't wait to start her Advent calendar, she has one from Thorntons with the chocolate plaque at the bottom with her name on it

Thankfully I got her big pressie last week using my tesco points, doubled them up and got her a tablet (Hudl) for £68 instead of £119! Amy saw in store they were sold out, and was getting worried, so told her im sure Santa has hers already as she is such a good girl Her list is quite long, and lots of cd's and dvd's

I done another nightshift on Saturday just past to try get some extra pennies in, im tired!!
