I played badminton.
Done English/French class..and loved it! :D
Pegged washing out.
Made sweet and sour chicken for dinner.
Brought washing in.
Made fairy cakes and iced them.
Read over lesson plans for the week.

And enjoyed very much the tuna salad baguette Don made for my lunch.

Lunch?? Haven't got time for lunch woman

I've also done the ironing, got washing out - 3 storey walk up, been down to the bins, twice and popped into the clinic to see if Philip is in - which he ain't but I'll pop back over when it's quieter - there must have been half the village in there earlier

Oh and given Grumpy "nstructions" on what to do, painting wise

Glad you enjoyed your French lesson Allt x

Afternoon all, it's dullish here but not too cold and feels quite pleasant really. I've been out and about, brought a bag of clothes and cds to Oxfam, pottered around a few shops, did the supermarket shop on the way home and when I got back in the house, realised I had forgotten to call to the fish shop  Never mind, gives me an excuse for a little walk down the pier, so I'm heading off now >>>>>>>>>

Absolutely bitter cold here! I went to the PO to post a birthday card, then picked up a couple of bits in Sainsbury's and then walked up to see D (my MIL) as she's not been too well since the weekend, she's had a nasty bug......I took her some milk and stuff and stayed about an hour until the light started failing, and then I walked home 8-) Wore my big camel coat, gloves and a scarf and it was still cold :?

Nice to be at home now, in the warm :D

Good news from Mick's dentist, his gum condition is stable - finally - so it's looking likely they can save his teef!!!! :D  :geek: :D

That's brilliant news Kaz, he must be really relieved xx
My mum had to have all her teeth out quite young thanks to a galloping gum condition.

What a shame for her Di :( Mick's gum condition is inherited, D had most of hers out fairly young  Mind you Mick's hasn't been helped by ignoring a couple of broken teeth from rugby injuries - until I came along and made him get them sorted! That allowed infection in....... 8-) ;) ;)

Thanks, he is a bit relieved :)

Hello all!

Funny old day here. I went to the gym and on the way home John called to say he wasn't feeling well so would be home shortly. He said he had a terrible headache and felt like he really needed to sleep. He got home and has spent the day lying on the sofa watching daytime TV. I've walked the dog, hung out the washing, wrapped some presents, walked into town and back to do some shopping and got the ironing done. John's as right as rain now so will be packed off to work in the morning, I will have company though as the school is closed due to the heating system breaking down.

That's great news about Mick's gums Kaz! Hope that D is feeling better soon.
