You're both right, and I do tend to wear very simple things anyway*.

What I will quite definitely be wearing though is my lovely big black ring with Swarovski crystals all over it.
That and (possibly) red lipstick should do it :D

* That patterned top in my avatar picture has misled quite a few people - at the time it was literally the only patterned item I owned

I would wear no necklace or pendant at all, but a gorgeous pair of big earrings.

I do have one pair actually Rodo, that's not a bad idea :)
My ears were pierced, but I had so many problems with allergies to metals that I gave up in the end.
But I have one pair of clip-on, little 3-drop earrings, black - they'd go :)

I'll have to have a dressing-up session to try things out - haven't done that for years :D

The earrings sound a nice idea. I am the same Di, had to let my ears heal up as everything blew them right up

It's such a shame isn't it Kaz, it would be nice to wear earrings :)
Mine were first pierced with gold, which caused everywhere I was wearing any (ie wedding and engagement rings) to itch and swell up, not to mention the ears.
So then after looking after my ears (thankfully I had them done at a chemist), they were re-done with platinum, which was fine, until I then tried wearing earrings
Almost everything made them swell up horribly, even those that insisted they were hypoallergenic, although I did have 2 or 3 pairs that were ok.
As time went on they seemed to get worse, not better, and if I left earrings out for even a day or two the holes started to close up and then reacted more again
In the end it was sensible to stop trying :)

I couldn't tolerate anything in mine either, even the pure gold my mum lent me.....Hypoallergenic didn't work ether. I still have to remove my wedding and engagement rings sometimes, as every so often my finger swells and itches

The doctor told me to let them close up in the end :(

Oh that's such a shame. I have to make sure the wires are either gold or silver and then I'm alright. I love my ear rings and have loads of pairs.
