Why is David Nicholson still in a job, (another promoted for gross failure).
We learn that he held regular meetings with
Gordon Coutts accused of bullying staff into lying with regards to cancer targets and waiting times for cancer patients, and Mandy Tapfield sacked, forced to quit for opening her mouth in disgust as to what was happening in Colchester Hospital and the shocking number of lives lost and at risk due to this mans lies and lack of professionalism .
The man had a record of warnings about manipulating waiting times.
He will be. OK however.
inspite of the unnecessary deaths he has caused. NICE big fat pension in the offing.that is if he is not promoted by Nicholson whose ass should have been fired with No Pension And No Golden Handshake following the shocking debacle.
If ever an enquiry was fixed into this mans professionalism and conduct his was.

Do you know something? I suspect that the likes of Nicholson and Coutts are kept in position, or promoted, because they are known quantities with pasts that can be used by politicians as leverage to get them to make the "right" decisions when the time comes. In the meantime they can be left to drift along while others do the work.

Absolutely agree with you post Frank. What a damnable country this has become, when targets mean more than lives. I assume those in government, all of whom have private medical insurance have it paid for as part of those outrageous expenses that they claim. No queuing for that bunch of wasters.
