I think copious amounts of vodka is the only answer Ally...

Can't imagine Christmas without mince pies...

If I'd known I'd have nabbed you a few last night from the meal we were at...very nice they were, and several people at our table didn't eat theirs.
They didn't go to waste...

There's a business opportunity then! Import mince pies and set up your stall as they'd sell like Hot Cakes! The 'fresh' all butter mince pies from Sainsbury's in my larder have a Use By Date of the 4th Match 2013 so no need for a freezer or fridges! If the Spanish can sell us all that Chorizo to eat then we can sell Spain mince pies?

Nobody makes a sausage like our British Bangers so even better! Back of a white van selling British Bangers, mince pies and your Christmas is paid for.

Slightly off-topic but this trend for Bad Taste Christmas Jumpers has been happening for a while now. I wish I'd bought a warehouse full of them, set up a market stall and flogged them cheap; be a sell-out.

Bring some back on your next trip to the UK and fill your freezer 8-)

I have never liked mince pies - there is an Iceland over here somwhere, near Almancil, I think. If my friend wasn't going to England for Christmas, she usually buys some for her English husband. I could have asked her and sent you some :D

Have another vodka :P

Impeccable good taste then Kaz! I bought Mincemeat Ice-Cream too. What a combination! Such a shame for Ally that she hasn't got anything vaguely resembling mincemeat
