Another cracker of a day here after a blowy and cloudy start - wall-to-wall blue and just a gentle breeze.

I might go out for a hobble into toewn. :-P

Good afternoon all, it's just gone very dark here
It was raining first thing and got heavier and heavier while I was in the gym. I was dreading the walk home but I spent 10 minutes getting changed and by the time I walked out the rain had gone and the sky was clearing. Billy and I had a lovely sunny walk and it wasn't as cold as I'd been expecting. It looks like the rain is on it's way back though now.

:? 'My' hairdresser wasn't in today - anyone got a balaclava???? :-P Actually it's not that bad, it can wait until next week anyway  ;) I got my nails done instead (they needed it!) and got the sellotape I really need so I can start my Christmas wrapping. I got one of those sellotape dispensers that fit on your hand so both hands are free for wrapping :? Watch me make a right old mess of it - I'll be stuck to everything :o

Went to buy a magazine and they insisted I took a free copy of the Daily Mirror  Never bought it in my life before - it's just like reading a comic :?

I have one of those dispensers Kaz, if it's the one that you fit the strips of tape into. I bought it when the local Somerfield were closing down several years ago and all stationary was reduced to 10p, I got that and loads of the strips and at Christmas it's invaluable!

I was only thinking the other day that when John takes Joe for his eye test on Saturday I'll tag along and go to Ryman for some tape strips :)

Went shopping, as it has to be done, bought some rather scrummy chocolate croissants :D

Saved a fortune  on chicken breasts, on special offer at Lidl and Aldi, and burgers, so shoved them in the freezer, also made some probably rather warm chilli burgers, and garlic butter for later, then Grumpy said he fancied going for a walk :o  :o  :?

So we did, for about 45 minutes, then stopped for a beer  on the way home.

Have also sent a text to Ally, as worried not seen her around today x

Pork stew, with rather nice Lidll bread and garlic butter for dinner :kick:

Yes thanks Ton - I'm sure it's just because of this extra work she's taken on, but it is unusual not to hear from her at all! Let us know as soon as you get a reply xx
