Morning all, another night owl here who is tired this morning!

We went to John's office night out last night and it really was a lovely evening, catching up with people I don't see from one Christmas to another and meeting some lovely new people too (and one absolute horror!). We weren't going to stay late seeing as the boys are still in school today and said we'd stay until 11 but we didn't get in until 2 and sat talking for a while with a cuppa, and the next thing I knew I was waking on the sofa at 3.35am - but I was a good girl and still removed my make up before going to bed ;)

John's now finished work until January and the boys get out of school at 1pm. We were planning on visiting friends in Tamworth at lunchtime but I had a text last night from a parcel delivery company to say they'll deliver my Asda Photo parcel sometime today. I'm not very happy about it as I ordered it to be delivered to the store to prevent me having to wait in for a delivery!

Happy Birthday to your son Saundra! He's the same age as me now!

Kaz, I'll join you in a cuppa - shall we eat loads and loads of chocolate too just in case it's our last??

Good morning all, it's 11.16 here, so looks like we've made it through!! Nice day too, although I had a bad night. I get a dose most years which involves me almost losing my voice and producing lots of nasty goo, but otherwise I feel fairly ok. Last night though, I woke feeling extremely flu-ish, aching limbs and my throat felt sore - however I got up and took solpadene which really helped as the aching stopped and I went back to sleep eventually. Not too bad now I am up and about, although my energy levels are low. I'm going for a walk this afternoon with one of my schoolfriends who lives in Boston, she comes home every Christmas to see her mother and we didn't manage to get together last year as she was very busy with lots of family stuff, so it will be good to have a catch up. Otherwise not doing anything very much, Mr. Osc is going out to play golf shortly and I will have my shower and wash my hair.

Lozzles, give dorisday a big hug from me please!! Have a good day everyone :)
