Morning all. It was really dark this morning - I had the take the head torch with me for Millie's walk.

Work for me this morning and then home to make the jam I was supposed to make yesterday afternoon.

I am thinking of going to the panto meeting this evening. A few years ago the village did a panto and I volunteered to do the curtains but then ended up getting roped in to be a statue and had my own little statue dance to do with my fellow statue! (The panto was Dracula). The woman who organised it all wants to do another one (too late for Christmas so it will be a summer panto) and there is a meeting this evening to discuss it. I don't want to be in it but the girls do. I have said I will help with scenery painting though (we had fantastic scenery last time as we have an ex set designer from Italia Conti and the West End in our midst and she organised that side of it).

As the meeting is in the pub I think Mick and I might wander down later.

Good morning Ally and Debih.

It's a miserable morning here, with more rain and colder weather forecast.

We are having a quiet day today, as Mrs A is worn out after her 3-day break up North.

It's nice to have her back. :kick:

Those of you still in bed might be advised to stay there a little longer.

Whatever you decide - enjoy it !!!

Morning everyone

A gorgeously sunny morning and not a hint of frost

I'm popping down to the village later for various bits and bobs. Grumpy is staying here also to do some bits and bobs (I'm not asking  ) and I'll be doing a pork stew for tonight and tomorrow. I've soaked some split peas and other stuff over night.

Good luck to your SIL today Ria xx

Hope you all have a good day and keep warm over there xx

A good morning from me as well. Rather grey and chilly - but given I'll be stuck in the office all day it'll be OK :) Planit Events have got their large Christmas Marquee up in the park outside the office again, so everytime you look outside you see this expanse of white and you think it's snowed.

Thank you - I'll pass on the wishes to N x
Debih - enjoy the jam making; I'm still trying to get the courage to give it a go - I mean how wrong can it go? And definitely enjoy the Panto meeting tonight ;)
Aggers - hope you and Mrs A have a lovely day today

And everyone else, have a fab day, whatever you are doing. x

Morning all :D

Expecting a client at 11am, up reasonably early so we get brekkie out of the way before she arrives. Nothing else planned, might start writing the Christmas cards later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)
Another dark, dull, damp one here, quite cold too.
Have done a few domesticated bits and pieces, may get round to the ironing in a while.

Debih have fun with the jam and with the panto meeting, of course where you live would have its panto in the summer, when else? :D
Going to see the physio at 1.30, it's a nuisance it's so wet. It's a 7-minute walk, but includes a now very wet/muddy cut-through, I really can't turn up with 3" of mud on my boots :? Avoiding that would take more like half an hour! Bb is working locally and should be back for a while, so I think he will either drop me off or I'll drive.
Thinking of N x
Hope everyone has a good day
