Good Morning Friday

Morning all. I'm rather tired this morning as didn't get in til 2.30am. We were at a dinner dance thing with friends - it was really good fun. Fortunately I stopped drinking at 10pm and just stuck to water, so whilst I am tired this morning I am not at all hung over.

S has already gone to school and as soon as L goes in about 20 minutes time I will be popping back to bed.

Then I have to finish wrapping presents.

Last day at school for the girls today - they are very excited.

Good morning

We've just had our morning cuppa sitting in the garden..it's lovely and warm already.

We're going to Mijas Costa this morning..there's a Dunne's there and we want to get new pillows and some cushions for the tv room.

Then it's into Iceland..they sell mince pies!

I'll pick up some goodies whilst I'm there.

Out tonight for the usual beers and tapas.

Morning all

B broke up from college yesterday, and Mick says things are getting quiet work-wise (touch wood) so we might just get lunch out today! It's supposed to be the driest day for a while so it would be nice to get out and blow away a few cobwebs I got my wrapping all done yesterday - that's a job I dread every year so I'm glad to have it finished

Ally all that sunshine and you get an Iceland too!!! Do they sell the same stuff as here I wonder?

They do sell most of the same stuff Kaz..I always take mum there when she first gets here as she likes to stock the freezer up for her lengthy stays.

I detest (with a passion!) food shopping but as there's the lure of mince pies that makes it easier.

I quite like popping into Dunne's..I can feel a sparkly cushion or two being bought for the telly room.

Enjoy your trip to Iceland Ally, everyone should have some mince pies

We're off to visit mother this afternoon and hopefully take her see my aunt and uncle for a pre Christmas celebration. We usually take her round there for a couple of hours in the afternoon and then go back and spend the evening with them, so whatever happens when we arrive at the CH, we'll still spend some time with them. It will be a shame if she misses seeing them too, but there you go, some days it's just not possible to take her out so it's a case of wait and see what her mood is when we arrive.

Morning everyone

Sunny and cloudy here, although warm, so washing out already.

So tired again this morning, I'm just not sleeping very well and even Grumpy came down downstairs after I'd gone to bed. I see seperate beds looming

I might walk down to the big supermarket and see if they have some ginger or I may just do not a lot.
