LOL at Harry growing Kaz. :D

When Craig was about 15 I took him to M&S for school trousers on the Monday and honest to God by the weekend they were flapping round his ankles.
I can still recall doing a double take and thinking..what the???

Yep, noticed that last night with his new jeans. They didn't look so bad when he was stood up, but as soon as he sat down they were halfway up his calves

Morning all! Dull day here but dry at least. Woke at 6am with the beginning of a migraine and a cough, took some cough mixture and thankfully went back to sleep for a few hours. Still can't shake this cold, I've had it for two weeks now and it has more than outstayed its welcome  Babysitting this evening as Miss Osc and SIL are going to a rugby match, and will be glued to Strictly to see that wonderful Tower Ballroom - one of our friends got tickets for tonight and has been in the queue outside since around 9am  Need to get myself showered and dressed, I bought the M&S meal deal so we will bring that with us and have it in their house. It's Michael's 4th birthday party tomorrow, looking forward to that :D Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon. We did an absolute ton of shopping yesterday so I'm at a bit of a loose end today. Mrs C is baking in the kitchen and the cat is snoring away in his favourite chair. We found out this morning why the birds haven't been down to feed so much lately - the sparrowhawk is back! It landed briefly on the back fence this morning.
Oh, I've ordered a new oven shelf from Amazon - living the rock 'n roll lifestyle, y'know!

Yes,Di. You're absolutely right.
I am finding that the day is going too slowly, and it's so blinking quiet here.

I will be watching Strictly this evening, but it won't be the same. It's no good talking to Prince
because he's going deaf - and all he keeps doing is watching the door.

And there's no-one to say, "You've been long enough on that computer, give it a rest".

Roll on tomorrow evening.

Silly really isn't it :)
Bb and I often go all day without seeming to say much, and I've always been so very independent - but on the rare occasions he's been away I've been like a little lost soul.

I'm sure Mrs A will be having a lovely time though, and we won't tell her if you don't ;) x

Thanks, ladies.

You make me feel better.

It's comforting to know that in feeling like 'a little lost soul' I'm not unique. :D
