my first mince pies of the year!!!

I used my new mini morsel tray and made a dozen mince pies and a dozen jam tarts. I was going to post a picture of them but they are rather messy - I filled the pastry cases up far too much! But they taste nice and that's all that matters - and it was my first attempt at making something with that tray so I was seeing it as an experiment anyway!

I have just taken out the first batch of mini chocolate chip muffins. I have enough mixture to make about 60 of them!!! Luckily they will freeze.

But then again, if I eat them all, they won't know that they ever existed will they.

Same here Ton; don't like them at all. I don't like raisins or lemon / orange peel so mince pies are probably right there with Stollen (don't like marzipan either) as one of my worst foods


But the jam tarts Debih - now that sounds scrumptious
