Morning all, nice and bright here with a good amount of sun, cold and breezy though. Still struggling with a bloomin' cold after more than a week, fed up with it now  I suppose our weekend away didn't help, managed to get through it by having lots of rest and getting to bed very early two of the nights, but my brother uses those gas bottle heaters which I hate and I swear they made my cold worse.

I've still to finish unpacking as I was out a lot yesterday, so I'll do that now, and also want to sort out some clothes as a friend who has a cousin married to a Filipino lady is collecting clothes to send to the Philippines. Then I will see where the rest of the day takes me, and dancing tonight. Good luck Jen, and Di, I hope the therapist suggests some lovely treatments for you. Have a good day everyone :)

Didn't have time for my toasted teacake before I went in the end, but have just had it now - with real butter of course :D

It was good, I had a lovely foot massage with mandarin oil.
Can't have back massage because of contra-indications, but can have things like reflexology and maybe Reiki.
However, they also have a physiotherapist, who is going to ring me and arrange for me to see her next time, as well as a complementary therapy of some sort.
She hopes to help with the specific pain under my shoulder blade, and also show me the best ways to use the tens machine, so all good :)
I get 6 appointments for now, then I think you're allowed more after a break.

It was lovely Ally - you could probably use a nice foot massage yourself with all your extra charging around :)

I love having my feet massaged properly.

A friend was doing an aromatherapy course, many years ago and used me and a few others a "helpers"

She used too much neroli oil once and I almost crashed the car on the way home and then slept for about 36 hours

Mandarin oil sounds much more sendible :D

I'm just back from walking Billy around the block (John's out cycling on the Chase and the two "can we have a dog, we'll always walk it" boys were watching movies in the warm living room) and it's bitterly cold out, very windy and just starting to rain
