Ally that is really kind of you and so very sad for Michelle. Its a nice way to go, but so very hard for those left behind.

Could I make a little suggestion? Would you be able to take someone with you, who is not scared of dogs the first time you go to feed Ollie. I am sure he is a softy, but he doesn't know you and he might bark and I would hate you to be frightened on your first visit. Once you have been once and introduced yourself he will be fine

Colin (Michelle's husband) is not going to the UK until the Saturday afternoon so he's asked if I'll go to their house on Saturday morning to meet Ollie and see what the normal routine is for food and walkies.

Don (bless him!) has said he'll come with me too and also (if I feel I need him to) come on the walks as well.
(Although secretly I think Don will come along anyway as he grew up with dogs and loves them. )

Ollie is 10 years old, was a rescue dog (he is completely blind but Michelle and Colin fell totally in love with him at first sight) but I do feel reassured as dog lover Don will be with me.

Superman (aka Don) has also told me he'll come to the academy every night to just 'be there' and help me lock up!
