My boss Michelle is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
When I went for my interview we hit it off absolutely immediately and she insists she's not my boss..she's very much included me in the running of the academy which has been lovely.
On Thursday I was halfway through a lesson when Colin (Michelle's husband) came into school to give Michelle the devastating news her dad had died at 7 o'clock that evening.
He'd died very, very suddenly at home, right in front of Michelle's mum.
There will be a post portem this morning.
The funeral home have told the family the funeral will probably be next Tuesday.
I went in to see Michelle at the academy yesterday and told her I would look after things there and be a stand in for her students that don't clash with my lessons.
I've also volunteered to go to her house morning and night to feed, water and walk her dog.
(Very brave as I'm generally very scared of dogs. ) but I've been assured Ollie the labrador is a sweetheart.
I probably won't be on much here for about the next ten days or until Michelle returns.
