Have just learned that cousin if on his way back to him family from Baghdad. Praying the family are safe, along with members of the public who have managed to escape the wrath of the Typhoon.

I'm also glad ex-B is OK. I heard, on the way out on Thursday, that it was a 10 Meter storm surge. Must have created absolute havoc. Trying to imagine a 33 foot wall of water coming at you, driven to peaks by 200hmp gusts, is just not something you want to contemplate.

Always came over as a sensible guy. This just proves it.
