Afternoon all :D

Bright and sunny here too 8-)

Popped down the road to M&S this morning. Bought quite a few bits onThursday, nighties for Mum, underwear for us and things for the children. Discovered when I got home they were doing 20% off online which would have saved quite a lot. Anyway I ordered it all again so went to pick it up and got a refund for all the stuff already bought. Bit of a palaver but definitely a big enough saving to make it worthwhile, just as well M&S is only 5mins away.

We had roast chicken yesterday so having what's left cold with potatoes and veggies later for dinner.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Surprise change of plans here :D
Lovely friend D phoned, so we went to meet her and her dog by the sea with Minnie and all had a lovely walk :)
She was going to treat us to lunch at the posh place but it's closed for refurbishment so we had yummy sausage baguettes at the seaside caff instead and tbh preferred it anyway :D
And she's coming here for dinner so have just had a quick stop in town to pick up a few bits to go with the pork - and forgot the orange

It does Kaz doesn't it :D
Except I don't know quite how this always happens. She plans on treating us by taking us out somewhere posh - and does, sometimes - but more often than not we end up having her here instead :) Somehow it happens on a day when we'll have extra food, or have already started cooking...
Since I got back have checked the pork, we've cleared up in here, and made the second half of the cheese & onion bread mix into long sticks (proving now). Not much more to do apart from rice & veg :)
We always tell her to come whenever she likes, so could be anytime between now and about 7.15 :D
