Isn't it weird

how you can go so quickly from a good mood to a really bad one!!!

I was fine earlier. Then L came home and said that she had been told off by the head of year for her hair (I'm not cross about that as I did say, when Mick let them buy those colour hair dyes, that she would get told off for having orange hair!!. I will ring the head of year on Monday, say it was supposed to be brown and went wrong and that it will grow out as I am not prepared to a) put another colour on top of it or b) have it stripped) but Mick had to get on his high horse and say that he was ringing the school on Monday as if teachers could colour their hair why couldn't the students and anyway, if students had to wear uniform why didn't the teachers.     I have told him over my dead body is he ringing the school as he shows no interest at any other time.

And then I have to sit listening to him ranting on and on at the poor person at the end of the phone re the recycling/rubbish collection. He has got such a bee in his bonnet about it. I do understand he is cross - they are forever dropping rubbish on the floor and they don't pick it up. If it was just our rubbish it would be bad enough but the nature of our lane means that four houses put their rubbish outside our house and none of them ever think about picking up any mess. But he just goes on and on and on about it.

So I went from being in a really chilled out mood at about 3.30pm, looking forward to a night out tonight to feeling really stressed out and having no interest in going out any more!

Go out with your friends and chill Debih. You'll end up laughing. These moments of marital stress will pass.

Yes, what Fugi said (((((((x)))))))

I hope he doesn't make a fuss at the school, we might not agree with school rules but learning to abide by them is good preparation for later life, when we all have rules to follow :? You understand that, so I hope M will have a rethink for the girls' sakes

Is something 'big' worrying Mick, Debih? I find when my Mick is in a mood similar to that it's usually something else worrying him, underneath, IYSWIM - usually work, or money related  (((((((((((((((Debih)))))))))))))))))))

All fine. I have destressed now.

He NEVER gets involved with any other school stuff. In fact, he never even comes to parents evenings. So I told him if he was that if he was that bothered he could speak to school about her hair but also make sure he took the day off for their review in a couple of weeks, attend all parents evenings (without me) from now on and deal with anything school related. He said he wasn't that bothered.

And I have told him that I don't want to hear one more word about the bloody rubbish. If he wants to moan about it, don't moan to me.

I don't think there is anything underlying Kaz. He's just like his dad - moan for the sake of having a moan!

Glad things have all settled down now Debbie.

John can be a right grumpy devil when the mood takes him. All it takes is one little thing and he's off

I nearly self combusted yesterday at Don over 3 euros!!!
Yes..3 friggin euros!!!!!!

I'd bought some stuff in a shop in Malaga and Don spotted a retro Coca Cola t shirt which he fell in love with so I bought it for him.
At the till the total was 3 euros more than he'd thought (although I was paying so it was none of his business!)

Before I'd even started walking away from the cashier he was delving in the bag looking for the receipt.

In polite terms he was told to naff off but I did get the receipt out and sure enough, his t shirt was 3 euros more than he thought it was.
Off he stormed...at a pace Usain Bolt would have been proud of...back to the t shirt rail to prove that he was right, the shop was wrong..mumble, mumble, groan, moan, mutter mutter...(I'm laughing my head off walking behind him thinking what a plonker! )

The result???!!!! Due to Don's failing eyesight (which he is in TOTAL denial about!) what he thought was a 5 was in fact an 8!!

Jeez you should have heard him! 'If I'd known that I wouldn't have bought it'
Me: errr, you didn't, I did! Am I bothered about 3 poxy euros? No. so shut up!!!!

I had a right pop at him telling him he was a right grump, how come he normally lets the world float over his head but gets his boxers in a twist over a poxy 3 euros.

He then went on to tell me (like I was interested!! Not!!) about the bad lighting in the changing rooms in H&M!
It was ridiculous the mirrors were a smoked glass effect and not normal glass
Moan, moan, bluddy moan he went on! :o :o

At this point my patience vanished, I had a few words with him which ended in...'off', ( 8-) ) he got the message and the rest of the day was lovely.

Men!
