Minnie's been to the vet

Her Auntie Alison is absolutely thrilled to bits with her :D

She's been on a lower dose of the steroids for 4 or 5 weeks - 5mg every third day - which has helped with the hunger.
But mostly the difference is that it's just like having a dog again :D Eager for her walks, a nuisance around the house :D , playing with all her toys and turning her bed upside down :D
Alison said I'd been a miracle-worker and that most people would have given up :D
And she commented on what beautiful teeth Minnie has too - and I'd been worried about her not having things to chew on :D

We're all loathe to cut the steroids out completely, so she's now going to have half a tablet (2.5mg) every third day, with us watching of course, checking her beautifully pink ears and gums, and go back sometime in the New Year :D

She took Alison some homemade hobnobs too ;)

Oh Di, what AMAZING news; you must be so very pleased with Minnie and you should be very pleased with and proud of yourself. As Aunty Vet Alison said - many people would have given up. Minnie today is a testament to your love and devotion to her (and same with Debih and Millie)
