Morning everybody. Cloudy here with a chilling wind. Will have to get a thick coat out now. Winter has come.
Just pottering today. Have done the shopping so do not need to go out again.

Morning all. We are homeward bound in the pouring rain.

I am in agony. Yesterday morning I was bending to pick something off the floor and coughed at the same time. I felt something pop and can hardly move. It is sheer agony."

Poor Mick had to load the car himself as I can't bend or lift anything! Hopefully it is just a pulled muscle.

Afternoon all, it's bright and VERY breezy here, we had some heavy rain earlier but I think it has passed over now. Towels whipping around on the line! I've been for a walk down on the pier where I had to lean right into the wind, hoping there was some aerobic benefit to that ;) This evening we are going to a Strictly fundraiser, these are the in thing here at the moment, a great way of raising lots of money. Usually done by football clubs and schools, the participants take some dance lessons for about six weeks and then dance on the night - people sponsor them and also "bet" on them on the night. Our friend and teacher is one of the judges (as is Nicky Byrne of Westlife), and another friend's husband is dancing, so a crowd of us is going and it should be good fun.

Mr. Osc has been busy this morning backing up his phone onto itunes as he will be getting the iPhone 5S on Monday, hopefully, at least that's when they said it would be delivered. He was long overdue an upgrade but waited it out until Vodafone contacted him and offered a good package with the phone only costing €99. That'll keep him quiet for a few days ;)

Tomorrow we are going into town for a potter around, some lunch and then going to a competition where some of our friends will be competing, so that's the whole weekend sorted :kick: Have a good day everyone - sorry about the back Debih, the journey home in the car won't be much fun :(

Afternoon :)
We were out this morning. Bb still hadn't had his hair cut, so we headed over to where we used to live for what we thought would be a nice wander, then Sainsburys since the clothes are 25% off...
Before that got some washing out, as the forecast assured me it would be dry and very breezy - which it was, with a lovely blue sky.
About 10 minutes up the road the clouds started closing in...still ok though. I dropped Bb off at the barber, drove on to pop in to visit friends in their shop - and as I left there, just as Bb phoned to say he was out and had started walking to meet me - the heavens opened :o He waited under some trees; it got worse and worse, by the time we got to Sainsburys it was bouncing off the road! Then there was a great big queue to get into the car park so I went straight round the roundabout instead.
Stopped off at Lidl and came home - just in time for it to stop raining
The washing was dripping, put it back in the washer for a spin and have now got it in there drying

Ooh poor you Debih, take lots and lots of painkillers (((x)))
Hope everyone's having a good day and hugs for those who need them
Di

Di the heavens opened here too while we were in town, but we managed to scuttle into a coffee shop, so we had a bite of (somewhat early) lunch and read the papers until it passed over! Then we came home to collect the dogs, and popped round to see D (MIL) Stayed there for an hour or so and back home now to relax in front of the telly 8-)

Debih that 'pop' doesn't sound good, I hope it eases off soon :( Bad backs are a nightmare :( xxxxx

Cruiser it is still really warm here, I would suffocate in my winter coat :?

Osc that sounds fun, hope you enjoy it :)

Loz I hope D has a safe trip, and some nice weather out there :D

Jen there is the usual big display here tonight at the Docks, where they put on a spectacular display around and over the water and the boats - we usually go but this year neither B nor H is here to bother, and we have the 'new boy' to look after - we discovered last night that he really doesn't like fireworks :o :( Pepper is fine with them......
