Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 01 Nov 2013, 07:34

Good morning. :D

Tis beautifully sunny. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

A national holiday here for All Souls Day.

I'm going to relax in the garden all day and the most taxing thing I'll be doing will be wondering what tapas to order tonight!

Enjoy the day. :D :D

Morning everyone :)

It's dull and wet looking here again, not sure what I'm doing yet. No H this weekend as he's got a sleepover with a friend, so is coming next weekend instead, and B might or might not turn up with her muddy washing from Exmoor :? She said she'd come and pick up the course books we ordered on Amazon when they arrived, but only three of the four have turned up so far.........So we might get a quiet weekend, or we might not ;)

Have a good day everyone :)

Good morning ladies. (and any late-rising gentlemen)

It's dull here, with rain forecast for later.

Won't be doing much today. There is an official opening ceremony for our retirement lodge at mid-day, although we
have been here for two and a half years. Don't ask me why!!!

Have a good day.

Morning all :)
Dark and wet here, not likely to improve - may have to resort to the dryer and airing cupboard today.
Still, apart from a very sore arm I'm feeling a lot better so joy of joys can do some h-word  And cooking, as my reward ;)

Ally it's about time you had a quiet day :)
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all :D

Had a fun time with the boys last night. They chose to watch Hotel Transylvania, it's a cartoon, very funny and just right for halloween

We've just enjoyed a yummy cooked brekkie, will get packed before popping to say our goodbyes before the drive home.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning everyone

A glorious day here too 8-) All Saints Day here, so a national holiday.

And a quiet day for us too, I think. I'm going to cheat and use a packet bechmel sauce for the moussaka tonight. Well, sort of pork and beef moussaka  a Rick Stein recipe.

I'll sit on the front balcony in the sun and read a book. That might get rid of the sinus pain around my left eye, might not

Hope you all have a good day and hope Jo is okay xx

Morning all, slept really badly last night and when I did at one stage, had a horrible nightmare, so I'm feeling sluggish and heavy headed. Also very annoyed because we've booked to travel to Blackpool the Friday before Christmas, planning to dance all day on the Saturday, attend a Saturday night dance in the Tower and then home on the Sunday, only to learn today that the ballroom will be closed for the day on the Saturday and only open for the night time dance - hugely frustrating when they change their opening hours like that. We looked at changing our flight this morning, it would just have cost the price of the night's accommodation we would have saved, but there is no flight to Blackpool on Saturdays during the winter  Trying to see how we could fill the Saturday while waiting for the night time dance.

It's a pleasant day here, just about to hang out some washing and Mr. Osc will be going to play golf in a while. We had a lovely day at the zoo with Michael yesterday, even though we had a couple of showers, we all enjoyed it. I have lots of h/w to do today, although "wonder of wonders" himself is hoovering without being asked   Have a good day everyone :)

I had a visit from the washing up fairy today Osc - must be catching

I'm now going to sit in the sun, with a book. Just taken a mega strength paracetamol, to try and shift this sinus thing
