Bl**dy bridge came out again!! I was having a cuppa in town and it just seemed to float out! Not biting on it, or anything. The cement has obviously failed again!!!

I've rung and made another appointment but I'm not half fed up with it all!!

They offered me 4.10 tomorrow, but I don't want to be in Cheltenham at that hour and travel home on the bus in the dark, so I'm going on Tuesday morning  I'm not in pain so that's ok..........................

I thought you were swearing about a 'bridge' bridge.

Mine came out so often that eventually there was not enough tooth left on one side to attach it to, so that had to come out as well.

I hope that it doesn't come to that for you, Kaz, and that it eventually 'takes'.

Frank I think I am going to go for the other option that was mooted, where they put on a cap that fits the two neighbouring teeth and that also plugs the gap. He didn't really want to do that as it involves drilling down those two teeth, and thereby damaging healthy teeth, but I don't see the alternative. I cant keep on like this, it's getting on my nerves :? :(

What happened to you sounds dreadful, I wouldn't want to keep on until that happened to me :? :( (((((F))))) xx

Kaz, mine was next but one to the canine tooth on the side I used to chew on most, towards the back. The rearmost tooth already had a filling, so the good tooth next to the canine became the main anchor - except that it didn't work.

It was quite a relief to lose the remains of the good tooth and have the 'bad' one refilled.

I do hope that the cap works. xx

I see............Thing is, with my Occlusion (polite term for my overbite!) I don't even put any pressure on the bridge as I can't bite down on it - so this method really *should' have worked....but of course it hasn't  :?

I think the cap method is the only way forward, short of forgetting it, which now I've spent all this money I really don't want to do :?
