Morning!

We have just heavy rain here in Lancashire and seem to be escaping from the worst of it.
I hear things are pretty bad now in the south, with thousands of people without power.
Stay safe everybody.

Goood morning :D

  It's absolutely beautiful here again. 8-)

The party was faberoony...4.35 we got to bed this morning. :o

There was a real mixture..my mum and dad, Craig and Jackie, most of our Spanish friends and heaps of J and C's friends.
Mum couldn't believe the noise level of just conversation.

I've been up for a couple of hours, tidied up everywhere and washed all the front terrace and garden.
You wouldn't think there'd been a shindig! :D :D :D

Today we'll be watching the videos we have of the boys as babies with Craig and Jackie as they've never seen them. :-P

I'll drop Craig at the airport as his flight is at 5, I'll then go onto work at 6.15 and I'm meeting Jackie and Don for a beer and a bite to eat when I finish. :D

NOT a late one as her flight is at 7am.

All I can say is the boys, us, friends and family won't forget this 21st celebration in a hurry. :-P :-P :-P 8-) 8-)

Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning all :D
I think I heard the wind in the night, but no damage here that I can see.
We were out in the New Forest yesterday and it was fine coming back, rain and some wind, but not strong and no tree damage that we could see.
Wishing everyone a good day and hope you all have power and no storm damage x

I have been awake since 4am as the wind was howling so much :(
The dustbin collection has been suspended until the wind abates.
I have had a quick look round outside and it doesn't seem too bad.
No tiles off the roof, no trees down but leaves everywhere and plants
in pots all over the place.
Will go now and check the fence as ours runs down nearly the length
of the hill :(

Morning everyone - glad everyone so far seems safe and to have escaped the worst 8-) We had loads of rain overnight, and there is some local flooding outside the city affecting local travel, but we escaped the really strong winds so no damage here - although I am glad our rotten silver birch was cut down last week as that might well not have survived, and it was very close to the side of the house :?

There are over 140,000 people without power in the SE and on the South Coast, hope Di isn't affected!

Doubt I'll be out and about today, as we still have a lot of rain forecast. Have a good and safe day today everyone xxxxx

Morning all :)
No, thankfully no power cuts here Kaz :)

Huge, huge winds all night - most of the rain was yesterday evening - kept waking me up on and off, just the noise of it howling. The strongest gust all night was just of the Needles which is no distance from here so no wonder!
The local radio travel news is completely full of 'road closed - tree/s down'.
No damage immediately nearby from what we've seen, and the storm has now passed; still a really strong wind but bright skies :)

Glad nothing major Lissie :)
Glad the party went so well Ally :)
Glad everyone seems to be ok :)
Have a good day
Di
