Good Morning Saturday

Postby Diflower » 26 Oct 2013, 08:15

I know it's dark and dismal and wet but it's still Saturday, so good morning all :D
Not raining here at the moment but ever so dark, we have the main lights on  :D

Bb's out with Minnie and will be going out to work in a little while. Hopefully not all day, but don't think I need to get out unless I want to so will see how the weather is later.
Must do some paperwork and online paperwork today, other than that not sure - for once might see what the TV has on offer :)
Hope everyone has a good day despite the weather

Good morning peeps :D :D

Last night was quite simply one of the best laughs I have ever had.

We all went to the 'German Paddy' at 7 o'clock for a few beers..and left at 2!!

There was an Irish musician on and he played a great range of songs..I've woken up to The Dubliners Black Velvet Band going round in my head.
We had a right hooley and a good amount of jigging on the dance floor..even dad threw a few moves!

Popping into town with Jackie for last minute party pieces and then we're off to Paco's for 4pm for the Malaga game and then the Real Madrid Barca game which will be great.

My poor liver!

Enjoy the day everyone. :D

Morning everyone

We have sunshine :kick: :kick: :kick: and blue sky :kick: 8-)

Washing out already  and more in the machine, so major ironing tomorrow

Dinner went well, although she said she was expecting rice, didn't realise the English ate mashed potatoes   but she enjoyed the pear (sorry Kaz  ) left half her coffee, drank half a glass of wine and did the normal Norwegian thing of hhmmm, whenever a mouthful of food went near her mouth( all Norwegians do it, it's supposed to be a compliemnt, even if they don't like the food  )

Pootling and running up and down stairs for me today  Might go for a walk later.

Hope you all enjoy your day, even if the weather is rubbish xx

Morning all! It's dry here and seems to be a little brighter than it was when I got up.

Need to do some shopping as I need some fresh fruit and veg, we'll walk Billy and visit my parents. Tonight Joe and I are going to see The Feeling in Birmingham. I've seen them 6 or 7 times before and they're an excellent live band but I'm very CBA about tonight.

Just relaxing with coffee before going out, John and I are in the downstairs living room watching Punk Britannia :D

morning,

quiet in here today :/

We slept until 935am, I was so tired, busy week :D and Amy decided to go for a walk in her sleep last night, freaked me out a bit as she has never done that, thought she went to the toilet but she had gone downstairs and turned the hall light off - she is scared of the dark and never goes back downstairs when I am in bed - called on her and she eventually came back up and looked at me with a glazed look on her face - went to the toilet then got back into bed!!

Told her about it this morning and she found it very funny!

Off to swimming lessons in about 10mins then Amy wants go look at TK Maxx but not buying much as not many pennies left and pay day not until Thursday, eek!

Hope you all have a good day

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here at the moment although it did piddle down most of the night.

Gosh Ton, she sounds a difficult guest :o

Soup and pizza sounds good loz :D I'll be popping a casserole in the oven later ready for dinner this evening, definitely comforting autumn food weather.

You all sound to be having a great time Ally. I'd probably need a week to recover after all that excitement

Yesterdays appointment went well, the consultant was very pleased at how well it's progressed. He did say there's now a very wide imbalance so they want to get my right eye done asap. I explained we'll be away between 5 Jan - 10 Mar and he says he'll try and get me in well before our holibobs. It doesn't give them much time as it needs to be done at least 4 weeks before then, we'll wait and see.......I waited 3mths to get this one done.

Not much planned, washing's on the go and that's about it.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, the forecast is for rain by the middle of the day and the sky certainly has been darkening quite a bit - wasn't that bright to start with! No special plan for today, I will tackle some of the ironing I suppose (if I have to  ). We are going to a Halloween dance tomorrow afternoon - we normally don't do dressing up, but decided to make an effort this time around. I'll be a witch (no remarks please ;) ), easy enough to do, I have lots of black clothes, I bought a witches hat and have been researching makeup online. From firmly resisting the idea, Mr. Osc has now decided to go as a gangster, he has enough suitable clothes to do it and I've been practising giving him a dastardly black moustache   Off for my shower shortly and will take the rest of the day as it comes. Have a good day everyone, Ally I hope you have your place booked in the drying out clinic!!
