Mum and dad have a batch (teeny tiny holiday home in the bush by the sea) that my great grandfather built. He was a teacher and named the place "somnolencia" only no one knows what this really means. We thought it was Latin but that turns out to be wrong. Family folklore says it means "place of rest". The sign needs reprinting, so I'm getting that done or Christmas for mum and dad, hence why I'm thinking about I now.
Does anyone know what it means or which language it is? I'm curious. Sorry, but I'm not even sure if i or it is spelt right, the sign is at the printers at the moment and I've written it here by memory.
