Ally I've just done a 9m schlep to the kettle and back - does that count?? It's cold dark and wet here again - Becky's bus route to college was diverted last night as Maisemore (the village between Gloucester and Hartpury college) was flooded and that's still tbe case this morning.................the Severn is set to peak mid-morning so fingers crossed it doesn't get any worse! I feel so sorry for people getting flooded out

I might go to Sainsbury's later if it stops raining.........otherwise it's just me and the hound, staying in the dry. Becks tried to give her a short walk before college but she refused to go out! She's got the garden for emergencies anyway and if it stops later I can borrow Mick's wellies and take her over the field opposite

It's mine and Mick's 8th wedding anniversary today - he's in Berlin but bought me some gorgeous flowers on Sunday and left me a lovely card to open...................

Thanks to Di last night we now have a News and Current Affairs board and more to follow later - do dive in everyone, we will soon be up and properly running again at this rate - many thanks to you all for posting so much yesterday and making the new place start to feel like 'home'

The really, really, really good news is that for down here at least the rain is gone!! Such a relief, apart from the floods am just sick to death of seeing it day after day after day.
Today not wonderful, dark and a bit dampish, but it's going to get clearer and colder, and altogether more wintery, which will mean brighter and generally more happy

Quick visit for now, will be back later to see if we can make any more site improvements, ooh it's fun

Me too Loz - I should have shares in PG Tips I have decaff though - only I could get the shakes from too many cups of tea! Oh and I switched to goats milk a while back, it's lovely in tea
