Gosh time has flown!!

Mum and dad came over 4 weeks yesterday!!

The time has just flown by!!

They go home 2 weeks tomorrow..but we still have lots of nice things planned for them.

Including Jacob and Conor's 21st birthday next Wednesday.

And the party on the Sunday.

Craig, Leilani and my best friend Jackie are all flying over next week too.

Mum and dad haven't seen Jackie for 19 years!!

They still send each other a Christmas card ever year though.

Excited to have my best beloveds with me soon.

She absolutely loved her cruise Osc.

She is a full time carer for her husband Mart (he has MS and is now completely bed bound) so really, really needed the break.

Originally there was four of them to go..Jackie's sister Janet and her husband Chris and of course Mart.
But he was just too ill to travel.

He went into a respite care home for a week (it's the first time Jackie has ever left him. She asked him if he minded that she was coming over here for a week and he readily gave his blessing.)

Respite care is wonderful, Mum used to go into the hospice once in a while for a few days; it did both her and Dad good.

Can't remember if you've told us how you're doing the cake
