on the train to work this morning, having a snooze - as you do. The train as always stopped just outside Waterloo and I opened my eyes to see where we were and lo behold I ended up looking at Snowmen and Father C****'s, Reindeer, Snowflakes etc...

Pimlico Plumbers always put on quite a Christmas light display and they were setting it up - just hope they don't switch it on until November at least

This Christmas malarkey is getting ridiculous. I love Christmas, but having it shoved in my face when there is still 1/4 of the year to go, certainly helps to alter that opinion.

The "C" stuff is pretty subdued around here, but you cannot move for Hallowe'en tat in some of the shops, and fireworks go on sale shortly.

I had to order what I wanted from the menu for John's office night out last month, but the actual night out has been booked since around early July
