Epic browser

Does anybody use (or know of anybody who uses) the Epic browser?

It is a Chrome clone Rodo, but with a lot of the things that can be done in Chrome Settings coded in and on by default: No history, no passwords saved, no auto-login, no auto-suggest, no auto-fill..... It also does not allow any extensions.

For me all this makes the thing too much hassle to use effectively. Chrome is known to send info to Google so that is why I use other "googleless" clones. If you want privacy but still want to surf easily try Comodo Dragon or Coolnovo.

Thanks for that info WM. I was hoping somebody might be able to advise. Hubby has read about it in Computer Active and seems to think it would be a good move. I'm afraid I tend to stick to the tried and true usually where puters are concerned.

This Internet security game has gone off the rails somewhat, IMO.

Groups such as Anonymous and Wkileaks and cyber criminals obviously need to use secure networks because the combined security forces of the free and not so free world want to control them or catch them.

You and I are not in the same league. Erasing history and cookies and passwords etc. does not cut it.

Paranoia can be a saviour, it can also turn you paranoid.
